ode to the lizard (cecak as we call them)

 This is the front door to our homeschool room. This door opens every morning & closes every afternoon (except for Sunday - unless I am in there preparing for the following week).  Key here: the heavy wooden door opens & closes daily.

 Here is the friendly cecak (lizard). Oh we have a lots of these things in our home & school room (which is off to the side of our house).  They particularly like our school room because we leave the security light on which happens to be right in front of this door. So the lizards love it because of all the bugs drawn to the light.

 Here is that same cecak from above, but zoomed out do you see that little "thing" just above it in the door hinge?

Thats right, an even closer look.  Oh you see it now don't you. That is  a dead cecak (lizard) in the door frame.  Well that is the remains, and basically just the skeletal system of the an ol' cecak.  And yep that is the tail of the one on the door. And if you haven't figured it out yet, yep the one of the door is dead too! Oh cecaks, when are you gonna learn to stay away from the front door?

And yes if there isn't a new addition to the door frame daily, its every other day.
