the rain comes from that direction...

I don't know about you all, but where I come from we used to say "if the rain comes from this direction, it will be alright, but if it comes from that direction, it will be a big storm." (Maybe that's because we lived in the valley).

Here comes the rain from "that" direction. And you can pretty much know, "okay, if its hits that mountain, I have about an hour, and by the time its over those trees about 30 minutes...."
