what happens when it rains...

Today after school was finished, it came a BIG rain with thunder and lightning and the whole shabang!

 This is what becomes of the house! Pillow land. Castle building. Quilts and blankets everywhere.

And then, of course, this is what becomes of the laundry. Most was dry pre-storm but not the sheets. So they get spread out on the porch. For those back home wondering, at the right, that gray machine is our washer. The white machine on the left side does look like a dryer. It says dryer on it. Its from the States, we got from some friends, but it worked one time and hasn't worked since. But doesn't it look nice on our porch. Hahaha. I mean really, what do you do with a non-working dryer when you live on a tropical farm with no trash service? In a part of the world that rarely has seen or heard of dryers? Can't really sell it for spare parts, ya know! Ha!
